Bitumen-rubber mastic 5 kg Hydrostop Ecobit

Bitumen-Rubber Mastic Hydrostop Ecobit is a rubber-modified bituminous compound for waterproofing coatings, designed for cold application. It can be applied using either a dry or wet method and provides excellent adhesion to most materials: concrete, plaster, wood, metal, OSB, bituminous cardboard, and old bituminous coatings. It does not require heating and can be easily applied directly from the bucket using a brush.

Bitumen-Rubber Mastic Hydrostop Ecobit from Farbis is used for waterproofing foundations, basements, garages, underground parking lots, protecting against moisture at the zero level of a building:

• As an independent waterproofing layer for protection against light natural moisture from the ground.
• As a primer when using stronger waterproofing coatings such as Hydrostop Membrana Eco or Hydrostop Membrana Adeziv 2 in 1 Eco, for soils with high humidity and wastewater areas.

For basement waterproofing, the bitumen-rubber mastic should be applied in at least two layers. The drying time of the product is 6 hours.

Consumption of Hydrostop Ecobit waterproofing from Farbis:

• 0.8–1.5 kg/m² per layer for waterproofing
• 0.2–0.3 kg/m² per layer for priming
